This Privacy Policy and Customer Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”) reflects the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and other applicable data protection laws. LifeinCloud products and services offered in the European Union are GDPR ready, and this document provides you with the necessary information regarding our data practices.
This DPA forms part of the Customer Terms of Service (“Agreement”) between LifeinCloud Ltd. with its registered office at Hanover Square, London, United Kingdom, and the Customer. All capitalized terms not otherwise defined here shall have the meanings set forth in the Agreement.
1. Definitions
- Controller: The entity that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data (the Customer).
- Processor: The entity that processes personal data on behalf of the Controller (LifeinCloud).
- Personal Data: Any data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person as defined under Data Protection Laws.
- Customer Data: Any data processed by LifeinCloud on behalf of the Customer while providing services.
- Sub-processor: Any third party engaged by LifeinCloud to help process Customer Data.
- Security Incident: Any unauthorized or unlawful breach of security leading to the destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure of, or access to Personal Data.
2. Scope
This DPA applies where and to the extent that LifeinCloud processes Personal Data on behalf of the Customer while delivering hosting, VPS, or related services. The Customer acts as Controller, and LifeinCloud acts as Processor.
3. Customer Obligations
The Customer confirms that:
- It has the legal basis to collect and process Personal Data provided to LifeinCloud.
- It shall comply with applicable Data Protection Laws in relation to Personal Data it processes using LifeinCloud services.
- It has obtained all necessary consents and permissions from data subjects.
4. LifeinCloud’s Processing of Personal Data
As Processor, LifeinCloud will only process Personal Data:
- To provide and maintain services under the Agreement.
- To comply with documented lawful instructions from the Customer.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Customer Data may include, but is not limited to: account information, billing records, server usage logs, hosted content, and communications with support.
5. Sub-processors
- LifeinCloud may engage Sub-processors (e.g., datacenter operators, software vendors, backup providers) to support service delivery.
- All Sub-processors are required to meet GDPR-equivalent data protection standards.
- Customers will be notified of any significant changes to Sub-processors.
6. Security
- LifeinCloud implements industry-standard technical and organizational measures (encryption, firewalls, DDoS protection, backup management, and access control) to protect data.
- All staff with access to Customer Data are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- LifeinCloud will promptly notify Customers of Security Incidents affecting their Personal Data.
7. Data Transfers
Customer Data may be processed in the UK, EU, or in other countries where LifeinCloud or its Sub-processors operate. LifeinCloud ensures that adequate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent) are in place for international data transfers.
8. Data Retention & Deletion
Upon termination of services, Customer Data will be deleted or anonymized unless retention is required by law. Data stored in backups may remain until overwritten but will remain isolated and protected.
9. Privacy Policy (Website & Services)
By using www.lifeincloud.com and LifeinCloud services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data for legitimate business purposes, including:
- Processing orders and service requests.
- Providing customer support and technical assistance.
- Billing and account management.
- Service monitoring, performance optimization, and security improvements.
- Marketing communications (unless opted out).
- Compliance with legal obligations.
10. Your Rights
In accordance with GDPR and applicable laws, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data.
- Request correction or deletion.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Request data portability.
- Withdraw consent at any time (where applicable).
- File a complaint with a data protection authority.
11. Sharing of Information
LifeinCloud does not sell or rent your personal data. Data may only be shared with trusted Sub-processors or partners strictly for the purpose of delivering services or as required by law.

LifeinCloud uses cookies and analytics to improve website functionality, security, and user experience. You may adjust your browser settings to disable cookies, but some features may not work properly.

14. Governing Law
